Eligibility

Because our Medical Physics – Certificate Program at Rutgers University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP), all applicants must have both:

  1. A doctoral degree in physics, physical science, or engineering (one of the three degrees),
  2. An undergraduate degree in physics or at least three upper-division (3 rd or 4 th -year undergraduate) physics courses

Individual courses within this program may be taken by non-matriculating students. All applicants must submit their application and supporting documents by the deadline.

The School of Graduate Studies provides personalized academic support for approximately 5,200 Rutgers students enrolled in more than 150 doctoral, master's, and dual degree programs across New Brunswick/Piscataway and Newark.
